G20-South Centre Capacity Building Event on International Taxation: Two Pillar Solution – Understanding the implications for the Global South

On 1st and 2nd June 2023, under India’s Group of Twenty (G20) Presidency, the South Centre organized a two-day capacity building event on international taxation in collaboration with India’s Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). The event was titled “Two Pillar Solution – Understanding the implications for the Global South”, focused on the ongoing historic negotiations on the taxation of the digitalized economy and global minimum taxation, and held in the city of Nagpur at the National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT), the apex training institute for the officers of the Indian Revenue Service.
