VIRTUAL TRAINING SESSION ON TAXATION OF THE DIGITALISED ECONOMY organized by South Centre & the West African Tax Administration Forum (WATAF)

The South Centre and the West African Tax Administration Forum (WATAF) are co-organizing a Virtual Training Session on the Taxation of the Digitalized Economy.
The training session will begin with a comparative assessment of revenues from the OECD and UN solutions for taxation of the digitalized economy for Member States of the African Union and the South Centre. It will then be followed by sessions exploring three key policy measures: national measures, the UN solution of Article 12B, and the OECD solution of Pillar One. The training will also cover the Global Minimum Tax, and examine the OECD solution of Pillar Two and alternative national measures.
The training will be provided by experts from the Governments of Nigeria and India, WATAF, the South Centre and the International Lawyers Project.
